Launching ceremony of Himalaya Shipping's newbuild 'Mount Blanc'
The launching ceremony of Himalaya Shipping’s fourth vessel "Mount Blanc" was held on March 1, 2023, at New Times Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., in China.
She is 210,000 DWT Bulk Carrier which will be delivered on charter in the month of June 2023. The vessel will be managed by Wilhelmsen Ship Management.
The launch ceremony was attended by the Mr. Liu Haijin – CEO of New Times Shipbuilding and Executive Deputy General Manager Mr. Zhang Yuyong., the representatives from Himalaya Shipping Mr. Olav Eikrem, Mr. Jan Andersson and Site Manager Mr. Davor Radic together with his site members and the representatives from ABS classification society also attended and witnessed the ceremony together.
